The urban red foxes are back. The “earth” (a fancy name for a fox hole) is inhabited by a husband and wife team, and the cubs are on their way. It won’t be long before I have a fresh batch of cute cub photos to show you. Hopefully they’ll be better than usual, on account of my camera shop spending of late: I picked up a cheap ancient telephoto lens. This is a quick shot I took with it. It also took this one, of a red fox in the snow.
Update: Unfortunately, no cubs arrived later that year, or the next. This had been the first time in many years that we had no cubs. The urban red foxes had left us, only visiting on occasion.
