Predictably, we were back in West Wales for a short break—this time in late Winter. The beach is not just for summer you know! And, no sooner than we arrived, we headed straight for the beach, wrapped up and ready for plenty of weather.
The coastline around Cardigan Bay always provides me with easy shots. If it’s not tranquil and picturesque, it’s moody and dramatic. You can’t really go wrong.
And, if there’s a little bit too much weather for comfort, there’s always the pub, an ice cream shop, or one of those yummy cafés which seem to be popping up more and more.
We tried a circular walk taking us high up on the hills behind Aberdyfi, with a breathtaking view across the Dyfi estuary towards Borth and Cardigan Bay. I almost forgot I was cold.
