It’s a terrible cliché but I indulged anyway. When you are surrounded by paintings without frames, it is difficult to avoid snapping away at them. This Tuscan church, ploughed field, and row of Cypress trees, between Borgo San Lorenzo and Sagginale, kept calling: “photograph me”, every time I passed. eventually, I stopped the car and obliged. There are lots of buildings and scenes like this littered around Northern Tuscany.
