I’m not crazy about being known as “you know, the guy who photographs foxes“. I like to think there’s a lot more to my work than that. Recently, though, I’ve decided to embrace the pigeon-hole, and use it to get more attention. The trouble is, how can I keep improving the photos … get a fox close-up? Well, the answer is food.
We’ve been occasionally leaving scraps out for the ‘skulk’ for a few weeks, and the vixen seems to accepted us a necessary evil, and is happy to share our garden (at a safe distance). On this occasion, we got to study each other a bit more closely. Funnily enough, she looks a lot like the cub we looked after the previous year, who was temporarily abandoned my its mum.
