Remains of the Day, Port de Sóller
Years ago, Mallorca had a reputation as a tacky holiday destination, and, for this reason, I avoided it. I’ve now been twice in the last five years, and I have found it to be a beautiful place. This photograph was taken just before sunset, from a narrow windy mountain road. No high-rise hotels here.
