Low Tide

Aberdyfi beach is typical of British beaches on the coast of the Irish Sea — long and flat. You can walk out for hundreds of yards at low tide, and easily get caught on a tiny island, once the tide comes back in. It’s a cheap thrill in an otherwise tranquil holiday in this beautiful part of mid-Wales.
